Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using CyberPath ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. CyberPath is operated by Fredy Dev ("we", "us"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use CyberPath. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@getcyberpath.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis via Stripe. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods except where required by law.

Free trial periods (where offered) convert automatically to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends.

5. Lab Environment

Lab sessions run on shared cloud infrastructure. Each session is isolated and destroyed after its TTL expires. You agree not to:

  • Attempt to access other users' sessions or data
  • Use lab environments for any purpose other than the assigned exercises
  • Launch attacks against infrastructure outside your assigned session
  • Attempt to persist access beyond the session TTL

Violations may result in immediate account suspension.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use CyberPath only for lawful educational purposes. You may not use the Service to develop capabilities for unauthorized access to systems you do not own or have explicit permission to test.

7. Intellectual Property

All course content, lab configurations, and platform code are owned by CyberPath. Your personal learning data (progress, XP, badges) belongs to you and is exportable upon request.

8. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Lab infrastructure may be unavailable during maintenance windows. We are not liable for losses resulting from service interruptions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CyberPath is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will notify you by email and post the updated Terms on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Quebec.
