1. Who we are

CyberPath is operated by Fredy Dev, based in Canada. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this platform. Contact: hello@getcyberpath.com

2. Data we collect

  • Account data: email address, name, and username
  • Learning data: lesson progress, XP, streaks, badges, lab session history
  • Payment data: billing information processed by our payment provider — we do not store card numbers
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, product events, and error logs

3. Why we collect it

  • To operate the platform and deliver your learning experience
  • To process payments and manage your subscription
  • To send transactional emails (account confirmation, billing receipts)
  • To improve the platform based on aggregated usage patterns

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising.

4. Service providers

We use trusted providers for authentication, payments, application hosting, data storage, product analytics, and isolated lab infrastructure. They receive only the information needed to provide those services and may process it outside your province or country, subject to their privacy obligations and our agreements with them.

5. Data retention

We retain your account and learning data for as long as your account is active. Lab session data (service URLs, credentials) is deleted when the session is destroyed. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days.

6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Export your learning data (progress, badges, XP)
  • Object to or restrict certain processing

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@getcyberpath.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies

We use cookies required for authentication and security. Product analytics help us understand how CyberPath is used; we do not use your data for targeted advertising.

8. Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Lab credentials are session-scoped and destroyed with the session. Password authentication is handled by our identity provider.

9. Children

CyberPath is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. We will notify you by email for material changes. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
